See How the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition Uses TIMS

The Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC) is a countywide bicycle advocacy organization that has been in existence since 1998. It engages in advocacy throughout the City and County of Los Angeles. 

With the Los Angeles Department of Transportation beginning implementation of the 2010 Los Angeles Bicycle Plan, LACBC undertook an analysis and outreach effort for each of the corridors identified in the plan. Intern Hyeran Lee was one of the LACBC staff on the project. She used SafeTREC's Transportation Injury Mapping System (TIMS) to do a safety analysis and create graphics that illustrate her findings in a way that could be used for outreach to community and agency stakeholders. Read the LACBC TIMS Case Study
