Viva CalleSJ is back again this year! Similar to last year, miles of San Jose streets will be close for community members to enjoy walking, biking, skating and exploring the city. This year's event, From the West: Glen Meets Zen, will open six miles of San Jose streets, including Japantown, Willow Glen, Burbank and Downtown, for people to come out and play for the day!
Help the City of Garden Grove improve bicycling and walking! Garden Grove's Active Streets Draft Plan will be featured at a community workshop booth on Saturday, June 18 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.! In honor of Garden Grove’s 60th Diamond Jubilee Celebration, residents are also invited to downtown Garden Grove, for a free, community-wide celebration.

626 Golden Streets, presented by Metro Los Angeles, and led by BikeSGV, will occur on Sunday, June 26 from 8am-3pm. Walk, bike, run and explore one of the largest open streets in the country--spanning 18+ miles, linking 7 San Gabriel Valley cities and 6 new Foothill Metro Gold Line stations.

Love Our Neighborhood Day 2016 is part of an Open Streets Initiative, Oaklavía, to encourage people to play, move, and exercise on safe, car-free streets. This year, Oaklavía takes over San Pablo Avenue on June 4, 2016: Love Our Neighborhood Day. As always, this free event invites the East bay community to come explore local businesses, community resources and organizations around Lake Merritt.
The 4th annual Sunday Streets Berkeley will convene on Sunday, October 18 between 11am and 4pm, with a focus on strolling, dancing and playing on Shattuck Avenue. Sunday Streets Berkeley travels along Shattuck Avenue for 17 blocks from Rose Street to Haste Street, filled with free activities for pedestrians of all ages!
