Road to Zero Coalition Community Traffic Safety Grants Program
Applications for the 2026 Road to Zero Community Traffic Safety Grant program are now being accepted. The program, funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, provides an annual opportunity to put the Road to Zero pillars into practice by supporting promising projects and programs that can help achieve their goal of ending fatalities on our nation’s roads by 2050. In order to be eligible, applicants must be Road to Zero Coalition Members from either an organization, including government and tribal entities and private sector companies.

Tribal Transportation Program Safety Fund (TTPSF)
The Federal Highway Administration is now accepting applications for the 2026 Tribal Transportation Program Safety Fund (TTPSF). The program supports projects that reduce transportation fatalities and serious injuries in Indian country. Projects that are eligible include:

Developing and updating transportation safety plans;

Safety data assessments, improvements, and analyses;

Systemic roadway departure countermeasures; and

Infrastructure improvements and other eligible activities as listed in 23 U.S.C. 148(a)(4).
