The San Joaquin Regional ATP Cycle 5 Call-for-Projects has extended their deadline to September 15, 2020 as per statewide application deadline extensions in response COVID-19.

Guidelines and supplemental application for ATP Cycle 5 funds, Measure K funds, and active transportation-specific funds from the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ) can all be found on the SJCOG website. The most recent ATP guidelines have been adapted to fit the needs of SJCOG. More information on the application, guidelines, and instructions can be found on the SJCOG ATP Cycle 5 Website.

The Active Transportation Program

The Active Transportation Program was established in the Department of Transportation in 2013 to consolidate existing federal and state transportation programs (SB 99 and AB 101). The ATP integrates the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP), Bicycle Transportation Account (BTA), and State Safe Routes to School (SRTS) into a single focused program that would promote California as a national leader in active transportation.
