California Crossing Guard Trainings Now Available

School crossing guards play a crucial role in our communities ensuring that students are able to safely travel to and from school. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is now hosting a series of online California School Crossing Guard Training Program training sessions to support local agencies. The trainings will be presented in a “Train-the-Trainer” format and participants will learn Crossing Guard roles and responsibilities, relevant laws and traffic regulations, and proper crossing techniques.
