Documenting the location, design, and condition of pedestrian crossings is the first step in prioritizing safety improvements at crosswalks. Hear from representatives of the Los Angeles DOT, Florida DOT, and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Florida Division about the tools they are using to inventory their existing pedestrian infrastructure and inform future investments. This webinar supports FHWA’s Safe Transportation for Every Pedestrian (STEP) program which promotes countermeasures at uncontrolled pedestrian crossings.
