Since October, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center (PBIC) have been offering a free 12-part webinar series on Countermeasure Strategies for Pedestrian Safety. This series will provide participants with exploration of the most effective countermeasures and design strategies that can be implemented to improve pedestrian safety. Each of the 12 sessions focuses on different topics.
The remaining six webinars in December and January will focus on leading Pedestrian Interval, Pedestrian Safety at Interchanges, Lighting Strategies for Pedestrian Safety, Traffic Calming, Roundabouts and Pedestrian Safety and Transit.
Note: Attendees must register for each webinar individually. Registration details are provided for each webinar.
