626 Golden Streets, presented by Metro Los Angeles, and led by BikeSGV, will occur on Sunday, June 26 from 8am-3pm. Walk, bike, run and explore one of the largest open streets in the country--spanning 18+ miles, linking 7 San Gabriel Valley cities and 6 new Foothill Metro Gold Line stations.

The City of Fresno will be hosting two community workshops on May 18 and May 19 to gather input on the city's new Active Transportation Plan. Please provide your feedback to help establish walking and biking priorities for the city of Fresno.
The plan will identify ways to enhance and expand the network of bicycle and pedestrian travelways and trails in Fresno.
Learn more about the project, provide your comments and suggestions in an interactive online map, and stay informed as the plan is developed.

The National Transportation Safety Board will hold a forum on May 10, 2016 to discuss ways to improve pedestrian safety. Alliance for Biking & Walking will be hosting an Active Transportation and Anti-Displacement webinar on Thursday, March 10.
The webinar will discuss topics on displaced communities, role(s) of active transportation as cost of living and demographics of neighborhoods continue to change, and explore strategies for advocates to integrate into their work.
Caltrans is kicking off the implementation phase of its Strategic Highway Safety Plan via six regional safety summits. Summits will be held from 8:30 am to 12:30pm, with an additional one-hour Q&A period focused on Tribal safety (12:30 – 1:30 pm).
