San Mateo County Wants Your Input on Critical Transportation Priorities

February 14, 2018

As part of their Get Us Moving (GUM) program, the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) wants to find out what residents think should be transportationGet Us Moving Campaign spending priorities. This includes priority options that promote safe walking and biking, such as improving bicycle and pedestrian access to promote healthy lifestyles; improving traffic safety in places where many people get hurt, especially children and older people; and expanding mobility options for youth, seniors, people with disabilities and low-income families.

If you are interested in providing feedback on these critical transportation needs, there are several options for having your voice heard. You can take a brief survey online or attend one of the upcoming Get Us Moving San Mateo County Town Halls:

  • Thursday, February 15, 6:30pm: Ballroom, Menlo Park Senior Center, 110 Terminal Ave., Menlo Park
  • Thursday, February 22, 6:30pm: Council Chambers, Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Dr., South San Francisco
