"I have the data, now what?" A closer look at data collection, collaboration, and planning between community and governmental agencies

UC Berkeley SafeTREC hosted a webinar on May 17, "I have the data, now what?" as part of the Street Story program. Street Story(link is external) is a community engagement tool that allows residents, community groups and agencies to collect information about transportation collisions, near-misses, general hazards and safe locations to travel. To promote access to the tool, SafeTREC conducts technical assistance with communities and organizations on using Street Story. Street Story is free to use and publicly accessible. Learn more about Street Story.

Webinar Description

Street Story is being used in various ways throughout the state of California. This platform has helped inform and empower communities about transportation safety efforts through collaboration between local and state agencies and non-profit organizations. Join UC Berkeley to learn more about collaboration processes, relationship building, engagement, and planning projects from experts in project and program planning, data analysis, and advocacy.
