For this installment of Stories from the Field, we're excited to share a recent conversation with Jarah Crowner, Policy and Program Analyst at UC Berkeley Safe Transportation Research and Education Center (SafeTREC). She is the program lead for Street Story, an online community engagement tool funded by the California Office of Traffic Safety that allows residents, community groups and agencies to collect information about transportation collisions, near-misses, general hazards and safe locations to travel.
This story is part of the Stories from the Field Series on UC Berkeley SafeTREC's California Active Transportation Safety Information Pages (CATSIP) website. It's where you'll find stories of successes, lessons learned, best practices and tools for promoting safe active transportation throughout the state of California.
This Stories From the Field interview was conducted in collaboration with UC Berkeley SafeTREC. The opinions and perspectives expressed are those of the interviewee and not necessarily those of SafeTREC or the Office of Traffic Safety.
Funding is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
