Caltrans has recently released “Toward an Active California,” the Draft California State Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. The public is invited to provide comments (by March 1st) through their online comment tool or by attending an upcoming meetings/webinar. The TIMS website has a new design and new features! First, the site has been migrated from HTTP to HTTPS, increasing site security. Secondly, the new SWITRS GIS Map tool has been launched. Viva CalleSJ is back again this year! Similar to last year, miles of San Jose streets will be close for community members to enjoy walking, biking, skating and exploring the city. This year's event, From the West: Glen Meets Zen, will open six miles of San Jose streets, including Japantown, Willow Glen, Burbank and Downtown, for people to come out and play for the day!
