Office of Traffic Safety Federal Fiscal Year 2024 
The Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) is the state’s lead traffic safety organization dedicated to making California roadways safe for all users. Through their grants program, OTS funds traffic safety projects across California that aim to create safe, comfortable streets for all ages and abilities. Public entities are eligible to apply for funding each year and can work as a grant host to 501c(3) non-profit organizations.
The Federal Fiscal Year 2024 application period opened on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 and applications are due by Tuesday, January 31, 2023. If your organization is interested in applying for the program, you can attend an upcoming in-person or virtual workshop from OTS through January. Road to Zero Coalition’s Community Traffic Safety Grants 
Road to Zero Coalition is the largest and broadest coalition that has ever focused on roadway safety in the United States whose goal is to reach zero roadway deaths by 2050. The Coalition hosts their Community Traffic Safety Grants each year, with funding from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, to support projects, programs and research that put the Road to Zero strategy into practice and bring us one step closer to zero roadway deaths.
Community Traffic Safety Grants are open to Road to Zero Coalition Members who are non-profit organizations, government entities, or federally-recognized Indian Tribes, tribal organizations, and urban Indian organizations within the United States.
