SafeTREC and Fehr & Peers(link is external) conducted two Community Bicycle Safety Trainings (CPBST)(link is external) at Huntington Park (August 15) and City of Stockton (September 12). Modeled off of SafeTREC’s Community Pedestrian Safety Training (CPST), the CBST training includes expert presentation on safe bicycling, an interactive training session, walking assessment of bicycling conditions, and small group discussion and priority setting.

The 4th annual Sunday Streets Berkeley(link is external) will convene on Sunday, October 18 between 11am and 4pm, with a focus on strolling, dancing and playing on Shattuck Avenue. Sunday Streets Berkeley travels along Shattuck Avenue for 17 blocks from Rose Street to Haste Street, filled with free activities for pedestrians of all ages!
