2026 National Bike Summit

March 24-26, 2026 | MLK Jr. Memorial Library | Washington, DC

The 2026 National Bike Summit will take place in person in Washington, D.C. from Tuesday, March 24, through Thursday, March 26, 2026.

The Summit will begin at 1pm on Tuesday, March 24 with an opening plenary, state meetings, and an evening reception. On Wednesday, March 25, participants will take part in Lobby Day to meet with their representatives in Congress. We'll celebrate with an evening reception on Capitol Hill. Conference plenaries and sessions will resume on the morning of Thursday, March 26, with mobile workshops, breakout sessions, and inspiring plenary speakers.

2026 California Bicycle Summit

2026 U.S. Safe System Academy

Join Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C. on May 18-22 for the Safe System Academy, presented in partnership with the Swedish Transport Administration. JHU will offer a 5-day workshop featuring international instructors alongside U.S. road safety leaders to provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of Safe System theory and practice. The course will include a tour of local road safety improvements and a technology symposium at the Swedish Embassy. To ensure that participants get the full benefit of interaction with the instructors, the class size is limited to 40 students.

Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals Conference

The 2026 APBP Conference will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, August 10–12, 2026 at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center! The event will feature cutting-edge training and engaging networking opportunities designed to elevate your work and your career.

The call for session and poster proposals is now open! All sessions and presentations at the 2026 Conference will be in-person. APBP aims to expand the conversation towards a broader context that reflects issues, themes, and relationships not commonly discussed within transportation. Submissions will be open until Sunday, February 15, 2026.
